How Our Optional Features Work:

You have three (3) listing options on VacationRentals411.com: "Featured Listings","Top Listings", and "Free Listings". When you initially listed your property with us, you automatically received a "Free Listing". In addition, we offer two optional features that you can use to attract more renters to your property: "Featured Listings" and "Top Listings". The difference between the two is that there is only ONE "Featured Listing" for each State, Area or City and there can be MANY "Top Listings" for each location.

"Featured Listing"

"Featured Listings" are in high demand because they are at the top of every listing page and attract attention to your property. "Featured Listings" are visually larger and the first property listed prominently on the page. (State "Featured Listings" are below the state maps). In order to have your property be the "Featured Listing", you must bid for the placement, placement goes to the highest bidder. Your bid amount will be subtracted from your members account every time a renter views your listing. For example, if you bid 5 cents and 10 renters view your property in one day you will be charged 50 cents for that day. Other property owners can take your "Featured Listing" by bidding more than you. When you are outbid you will receive an email to let you know someone has out bid you for your "Featured Listing", you can then decide if you want to bid higher.

"Top Listings"

"Top Listing" will move your "Free Listing" to one of the top positions for much less than a "Featured Listing", sometimes for as little 1 cent per viewing. "Top Listings" also offer a small picture of your property in the listing area so your listing will stand out from the other "Free Listings". If another owner bids more than your bid, your listing will move down but never disappear. Every time a renter views your listing you will be charged your bid amount and that amount is taken from your members account balance. (Example if you bid 5 cents and 10 renters view your property in one day you will be charged 50 cents for that day)

"Free Listings"

You already have a "Free Listing" and you do not have to do anything to except login once a year and keep a working email address to maintain your "Free Listing". Your listing position is by the order when you joined.

"Getting Started"

To get started you will need to deposit a minimum of $25.00 in your members account using PayPal or you can call our office during the week and we can take you credit card over the phone our toll free number is 866-765-6300 Ext 106.

To activate a feature enter a bid amount in the white box next the feature you want to use. If your bidding for a "Featured Listings" you have to bid more than the current bid listed in the left column for "Top Listings" you can enter ANY AMOUNT but the higher your bid the higher your listing will move up. When deciding on how much to bid on "Top Listings" you find your current listing position in white text next to the next to where you bid so start with a SMALL AMOUNT and press enter you will see your position move up.

When your account runs low on funds we will send you an email to inform you so you can add more money. When your account runs out of funds, your listing will go back to its regular listing position. If you were the "Featured Listing" it would then go the next lowest bidder if you had a "Top Listing" it would go back to its original position.
