Hike to see nearby waterfalls, including Roaring Fork, Setrock Creek and Crabtree Meadows. Shop for pottery, gems and glassware created by local artisans. Or climb the observation tower at Mount Mitchell, the highest point east of the Mississippi River at 6,684 feet. This 3 level home is very private. Finished in native Knotty Pine and equipped with a gas log fireplace, ceiling fans and central air conditioning for your comfort. There is an abundance of large windows and skylights throughout the home on all 3 levels which provide you with views of the outdoors. Upon entering the home you will find yourself in the family room. Get ready to snuggle up on one of the large sofa's in front of the gas log wood stove. the family room has television, cable T.V, DVD and CD player. The entire ground level has solid Oak hardwood floors with carpeted areas in the upper and lower bedrooms.
