A short walk will find you at the tennis courts, basketball courts and nature trails. One trail leads to the Garnet Hill Lodge, which serves lunch and dinner, provides lawn games, billiards and boasts a magnificent view of the surrounding area. The Schoolhouse is so named as it was originally the schoolhouse for the children of the nearby Garnet miners, over a hundred years ago. It still retains country charm and original antique furnishings.
