Miles & miles of boondocking and hill climbing with excellent riding opportunities. Facilities and services at Encampment. Snow depths range from 2 feet to 8 feet. THE SNOWY RANGE IS 30 MINUTE DRIVE and offers: The Snowy Range has over 166 miles of groomed trails and 136 miles of ungroomed but signed trails. Numerous meadows with deep powder snow along the system. Unlimited public land for great snowmobiling in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Full Services in Laramie, Saratoga and Rawlins. Limited facilities and services are available in the mountains, however, food, lodging, fuel, and restrooms are readily available. Other attractions include scenic lookouts and warming huts. Six roadside parking areas are available which provide easy access on and off the trail.
