It takes just 2 mins to walk to the sandy beach & calm waters of Mar Menor sea (Little sea). The secured complex offers outdoor & indoor swimming pools, gym, jacuzzi, sauna & children's play area. Set in the seaside town of Playa Honda. on a new, secured, luxury complex with views over the sea & the swimming pool complex. There is private garage parking, lift & stair access. Suitable for wheel chair users. Close to the apartment you will find sailing, water skiing, golf, tennis, horse rding, boat hire & trips, wind surfing, shopping areas, Spanish and international restaurants & a food shop. There are plenty of water sports & other activies nearby. You will find Golf, sailing, water skiing, boat hire & boat trips, wind surfing, jet-skiing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, Quad-biking and national & international restuarants. The famous La Manga Golf club and resort is just a short drive away. Nearby is the pretty coastal town of Cabo de Palos Palos, with fantastic beaches, coves & with one of the prettiest quays in the area. This marina town has a famous 19C lighthouse perched on top the cliffs. From here you can see the whole of La Manga, bays & inlets. Known locally for great fish restaurants serving "catch of the day". Further afield are the ancient city of Cartagena with its Roman amphitheatre & traditional Spanish festivals. The white sandy beaches & dunes of the Calblanque nature park. The Rio safari park, Aqualandia Waterpark & Terra Mitica Theme Park. The nearest airport is Murcia ( 20 mins) but Alicante airport is about 1 hours drive away. Both airports have cheap low cost airlines using them. There are good rail & bus links too.
