Nearby Attractions: - Anchor Point's claim to fame is it's fishing. The beach is a launch site for halibut fishing and salmon trolling, while the river boasts King Salmon, Silver Salmon, and Steelhead runs. Anglers also enjoy fishing for Dolly Varden and Rainbow Trout in the late summer and fall. Other favorite activities are beachcombing, bird-watching, hiking, and four-wheeling in the summer. Snow-shoeing, skiing and snowmachining are winter favorites.
