Available to rent is our vacation cottage on the Muskegon River in Evart, Michigan. It is located on the outside bend of the river and provides a spectacular view of the river, you can see about a half mile up and down river. We are also 300 feet of the road, so traffic, what there is doesn't interfer with a nap on the hammock. We are secluded with only a few neighbors on one side, and woods and nature on the other. This a very quiet area and the wildlife will be right in the yard, deer, turkeys, and you will often see eagles and other critters along the river. Downtown Evart offers Rails to Trails program that converted the former railroad bed to a beautiful trail that is favored by walkers, joggers, runners, bikers, and snowmobilers alike. The Evart area is also home to the Dulcimer Festival,and the elusive Morel mushroom, as well as to blackberries and blueberries.
