Cascade Mountain Retreat can be your slice of heaven. Located in the middle of 160 secluded acres nestled in the foothills of the Ozark mountains, when you get there you won't want to go anywhere else. Peace and solitude are constant companions while you fish in our private trophy-bass lake, walk along the 150 year old wagon trails, or just sit on the porch swing and watch the abundant deer and turkey feed in our wildlife foodplots. There is also plenty of room for friends and family with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths in the 2000 sq.ft. home. Feel free to bring your horses. Your senses will be filled with the sweet smell of honeysuckle wafting through the air or the visual circus of a million fire flies lighting the night. Let your ears be delighted by the songs of the Whip-Poor-Will and the proud gobble of the wild Turkey. Stop long enough to pick some wild blackberries, large orange persimmons, or gather up some black walnuts. Even though Cascade Mountain Retreat provides a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of fast paced life, we are not too far from civilization. You will be within a 1/2 hour drive to Greers Ferry Lake with all of its boating & skiing and the Little Red River, where the world's largest brown trout was caught. If you would like to shop or take in a nice restaurant, we are only 20 minutes from all of the amenities you would need. During about half of the year pheasant and quail hunting is available within a few miles of Cascade Mountain. We offer some selected dates for trophy deer hunting and turkey hunting at Cascade Mountain Retreat. If you enjoy the big city we are only 45 minutes from the Little Rock International Airport, the new Clinton Presidential Library, the Little Rock Zoo, or the exciting night life of the downtown rivermarket.
