"The Mistress" is an historic vacation home located in Wallace, Idaho, nestled in the beautiful Silver Valley. It was originally built in 1915 and completely restored in 2005. Filled with charming character and a genuine warmth, The Mistress sits proudly with a wonderful view. There is plenty of on-site parking and Historic downtown Wallace is just a minutes walk, in fact, everything in Wallace is easily accessible by foot. Perhaps you’ve seen the town before in the movie, Dante’s Peak? Wallace has small town charm and is full of things to do. Old antique shops, stylish boutiques, quaint coffee houses and a variety of stores will keep you busy. If you tire from a long day of skiing or biking, hop on board Wallace’s nostalgic trolley for a guided tour. For nightlife, check out the many clubs or bars. Our vacation home is ideally located for skiers and other winter sports lovers with Lookout Pass and Silver Mountain just a short distance in either direction. For cyclists, the ever popular Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and The Route of the Hiawatha are just a few minutes walk from the house.
