Birchmont House is located at 3722 Birchmont Drive NE on the northwest side of Lake Bemidji less than two miles north of Bemidji State University. The house is perfect for any family gathering such as reunions, weddings, vacations, holiday gatherings, etc. An indoor heated lap pool which is viewable from the kitchen is perfect for exercise or fun for the entire family. The large kitchen features a center butcher-block island complete with a JennAire cooktop/indoor grill. Double ovens and two refrigerators complete the convenience of preparing meals for a crowd. You will not have to be alone in the kitchen as it is open into a large great room complete with a high definition big screen television and DVD/VHS player. There are five bedrooms with queen-size beds and one bedroom with four twin-size beds. All the bedrooms have wildlife themed quilts to add to the uniqueness of the Northwoods experience. A queen-size sofa sleeper in one bedroom adds additional sleeping space along with a comfy sofa in the great room. Three single rollaway beds and a twin-size air mattress are also provided if needed. There is a very large private back yard sitting on 2.4 acres surrounded by wooded areas. Two hundred feet of lakeshore and a 56-foot dock make access convenient to Lake Bemidji. There are two boat ramps within one mile in either direction on Lake Bemidji, a favorite year round northern Minnesota destination. Cameron Park which is less than a mile from the house provides a sandy beach for lake swimming. Private guides are available for snowmobile trail tours, fishing tours, and ice fishing tours upon request. Sorry, no pets allowed.
