This cute log cabin with a handy location has easy access as the parking is level with the road and is approx. 4 steps to the front deck. It is really convenient whether you choose to ski Sugar Mtn. or Ski Beech on Beech Mtn., as it is approximately 4 miles to each of these ski resorts. In addition, it is only a 1/2 mile drive to the shuttle pickup for Ski Beech. The cabin is close to Banner Elk so you are less than 1 mile to shopping and a number of good restaurants. You enter the main level from the front deck (with the cute rocking chairs). To the left is a cozy great room (living room/dining room combination) with a gas fireplace. The living room has a TV with satellite connection and VCR. Also on the main floor is the kitchen, a bathroom and a game room for the foos ball table. A gas grill is located on the back deck. You go up the regular set of stairs (not circular!) to the second floor where there are two large bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedding is attractive and cozy in the large bedrooms. The roomy master bedroom has a king size bed and a TV with satellite connection, while the guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a TV (3 total). While this room doesn't have a satellite connection, it comes equipped with a DVD/VCR for the movie buffs to watch. As our office is less than 1 mile away, you will have an endless supply of movies to check out for free (we even bring them back to the office for you!).
