"Come On Up To KC's Cabin" on the Beautiful 17,000 acre Lake Chippewa Flowage, Wisconsin's Largest Wilderness Lake. Located on Famous Moore's Bay and surronded by National Forest. 20 Miles east of Hayward, WI. Open 1st Sat. May - Mid Oct. A little background on our cabin: The entire compound used to be a six cabin resort with a small RV park, that converted to condominium. All are privately owned but all share in common areas such as swing set, fish cleaning house etc. The cabin is approx 120' from the lake set on a hill. The cabin features a field stone wood burning fireplace with firewood stacked right at the door, large screened in porch with a second kitchen table and futon couch/bed. The kitchen features full size electric stove, refrigerator, micro-wave, toaster, electric coffee maker & filters. There is an ample supply of pots, pans, dishes,cups,glasses,forks,knives,cooking and BBQ utensils, and crock pot. Outside is a BBQ grill, picnic table and fire pit. All bed linens are provided. FISHING: Dock your boat(s) (two dock spots) at our private floating dock. Public launch just minutes away. The "Chip" is famous for the "Mighty Musky". The lake is also known for it's Northern, Walleye, Large & Small Mouth Bass, as well as "Slab Crappies", and great Blue Gill & Perch fishing. WILDLIFE: Have your camera with you always. You never know who's going to show up - it could be the golden or bald eagles,loons,woodpeckers,otters,muskrats,beavers, great blue herron, fox, ducks, bears - to name a few. The cabin is perfect for your next trip north. Ideal for your family, you and your fishing buddy's, or a quiet romantic retreat with your sweetie. We know you will have a great time. The area is pretty much wilderness, the cabin is very nice, the lake is outstandingly beautiful and the fishing can be excellent. PAYMENT: Balance due before or at check in. We accept Money Order, Travellers Check or PayPal Only (if paying by PayPal add 3% to rate) Please Note: If you cancel for any reason, and if we can rent the cabin for your booked dates, we will refund your deposit minus a $25.00 fee. Otherwise your deposit is non-refundable. No Credit For Short Stays. All rates subject to 5.5% WI sales tax.
