Located in Ashe County, NC, the cabin is just 10 minutes from downtown West Jefferson or Jefferson, and less than 30 minutes to Boone. Only 5 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, too. Enjoy canoeing the New River, hiking the many trails in the community, or hiking on Blue Ridge Parkway trails or nearby Mount Jefferson.

Hunting, bird watching, bicycling (on the Virginia Creeper Trail or the nearby Railroad Grade Road from Fleetwood to Todd), fishing on the many stocked trout streams, shopping in West Jefferson, fine dining at some of the wonderful restaurants in the area - all this is available, and more.

The cabin sleeps 8, with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the family room. The cabin has a gas grill, covered outdoor dining, open decking, a gas-log stone fireplace, a separate family room with an additional TV (there is also one in the living room), game table, pool, ping pong and air hockey, washer/dryer, telephone, and a complete kitchen. Linens are provided, except for towels or blankets for river or other outdoor activities. The cabin also has a generously sized private outdoor hot tub.

If you really need to stay connected to work, email, or just want to be able to surf the web on the deck overlooking the river, we now offer a wireless broadband internet connection. Just bring you laptop and connect!
