Geographical location: 38º47'54" N / 9º28'25" W This century old restored house is situated at the very end of the village of Almoçageme in the Sintra area. From the private garden and every room of the house there is an unobstructed view of countryside and sea.The sun sets magnificently into the sea in front of the house during the summer months. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 double-bedded and 2 with 2 singles, sleeping up to 8 people. From the master bedroom's veranda there is a more panoramic view .There are 3 bathrooms, one of which is ensuite and has a bath as well as shower.The fully equipped kitchen with slate flooring and polished stone counter tops is full of light, as is the living/dining area which has patio doors leading out to the garden. There is central heating throughout as well as a fireplace in the living area. The washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are in the separate laundry room. A baby's cot and high chair are available. This house is full of paintings and Portuguese ceramics and provides a comfortable and cosy home away from home. The nearest sandy beach is just a short walk away. From this beach you can follow dinosaur footprints over the cliffs to the next in a series of sandy beaches up and down the coast.
