Affordable 3 Br Lakefront Cottage on Big Green Lake The Lake Renowned for it's beauty, Green lake id just 3hrs from Chicago and 2hrs from Milwaukee. This spring fed lake is so clean it begs for swimming and water sports. With over 27 miles of shoreline it is one of the biggest lakes in Wisconsin, giving you plenty of room to go power boating, skiing, tubing and wake boarding. With it's tree lined shore it is angelic for leisurely boating and sailing. A sandy beach and pier area are perfect for water volleyball, swimming and other water fun. Being the deepest lake (237' deep) in Wisconsin, you can enjoy some of the best fishing around: Trout, Walleye Northern, Bass, perch etc. All in all, a beautiful, enjoyable lake. The Cottage As one of the most affordable cottages directly on the lake, this fully furnished cottage has a great view of the lake and a very functional layout. The large living room is just great to gather in at the end of a day. The three bedrooms and pull out couch in the living room allow sleeping for up to 8 people. Dine in the ample eat-in kitchen or outside on the deck overlooking the lake. Linens are included. There is plenty of room in the large lake-front yard to play yard games like volleyball or croquet. The lake shore itself has a sandy bottom and stays shallow for a long distance out from shore, giving loads of room for young children to play in the water or for adult water sports. Bring a boat or rent one from the local marina. A boat ramp is a short distance away. Lots to Do In addition to all that the lake offers, several award winning golf courses are within a short dive, as are local antique and Amish gift shops. The states largest flea market is nearby. Also nearby, is local outdoor concerts, events galore, horseback riding, air balloon rides, a bison ranch, self-serve orchards etc.
