The sparrow House is available for rent year round for up to three families or groups of up to 12 (4 more on air mattress) people to stay together. It was built by a ship builder and the design and location of the property make it evident that this is one of New Bern's most desirable homes. The home has a winding spiral staircase that winds all the way to the fourth floor, and it also has a small side yard that will be able to be used for outdoor tables to seat up to 20-30 people. Evening walks through historic New Bern, Horse drawn Carriage rides that can pick you up at the front door, and wide views of the Neuse River that are only available from a select few properties in downtown New Bern.
The house is in the best location downtown and within five-seven minutes walk to several of New Bern's most beautiful Churches and Restaurants, only three-four minutes walk from The River Front Convention Center, The Sheraton Grand, and only steps from Union Point Park on the waterfront.
