We are located in the exclusive South Beach Community of Salvo on the Cape Hatteras Nat'l Seashore. The home of the "Graveyard of the Atlantic". Our community is 1/10 of a mile from Ramp 23 & allows "Dragonfly" to offer exquisite, unspoiled views of the Atlantic Ocean & Pamlico Sound that no other community can offer!!
Our community has a private boardwalk to the beach. The boardwalk is approx. 1200 ft. from the house, just a short walk away. There is also a parking area for the boardwalk. The beach is approx. 1800 ft. from the house. The "Dragonfly" offers a private pool, hot tub & outside shower. There are three large decks with easy access from all rooms with surround sound as well as a hammock for kicking back & relaxing. "Dragonfly" offers the most luxurious and unique art deco decor on the island. You truly cannot enjoy the beauty of this home until you step inside. The first floor comes complete with a large bar/lounge area, full size refrigerator, microwave, tv, pool table, entertainment area with large screen tv, surround sound, as well as "one" of the king suites, with full size bathroom. The second floor has five of the seven bedrooms, including two more King Suites, 1 Queen suite, one Double twin suite, and one Double bunk bed room. All bedrooms come with their own TV, DVD, and private bathroom. The laundry room is also on the second floor offering front end loader washer/dryer. The third floor is breathtakingly beautiful. "The Master Suite", offers a separate shower/tub with beautiful marble tile throughout. The "Great Room comes with a gas fireplace, and Large Screen TV with Surround Sound. The Kitchen offers 2 Dishwashers, Wine Cooler, Ice Machine, Jennair Stove, and microwave. There is plenty of room for all as the 3rd floor offers a breakfast nook off the kitchen & dining room area. Outside there is a screened-in patio with table and chairs. For the little ones, we provide a high chair, play pen and a stroller. There are also board games for the older kids. "Dragonfly" has so much to offer!! There is plenty for everyone to do and see.
