Punalu'u is located 40-45 minutes from the Honolulu International Airport, Waikiki beach, and Downtown Honolulu. Within 20 minutes you'll be in the North shore, the surfing capital of the world with famous beaches like Waimea, Pipeline, and Sunset beach. There are two mom and pop stores within walking distances, restaurants a few minutes drive away, movie theatre and a small shopping mall. The activities offered in the local area will be sure to keep your adventurous side entertained. There is Kualoa Ranch for Horseback riding, ATV rides, Jetsking, Helicopter tours, Scuba diving, Gun range, ranch movie set tours and more.
