Property Description
Bedrooms: 2. Bathrooms: 3
Awesome views of Kachemak Bay. Eagles ofen soaring past. Ocassional
moose wandering the property. Homer, Alaska is the Halibut fishing
capital of the world. Five cabins to choose from, each an adventure
in itself. The Dovetail Cabin is very easy to access and has
wonderful views. The Moose Caboose and Canyon Cabins are more
secluded as you will need to walk down lots of stairs to get to their
seclusion. The Double Eagle is a shrimp boat that was used in the
Exxon Valdez oil spill clean up but is now permanently on a
foundation overlooking the awesome views of the Bay. Our newest and
largest cabin is really a lodge. It has a magnificent large kitchen,
three large levels, and great views. If you have a large group you
might consider a cooperate retreat at the Bear's Den. If you have a
really large group you might consider booking multiple cabins and
then conducting meetings on the property at the Bear's Den. The
Bear's Den has hosted my local Rotary Club with 30 people for a lunch
meeting. It was one of the best meetings of the year. There are many
things to do in and around Homer. By the way, once you visit and
decide you like this area, I am a Real Estate Broker and am available
to assit you with finding your own piece of paradise. You may have
seen our Moose Caboose and Double Eagle cabins on HGTV "Rezoned", or
on the Travel Channels "Amazing Vacation Homes"
