River Rest describes this vacation getaway perfectly! With over 200 feet of river frontage, you just step out the back door and the rushing sounds of the Broad River will transport you. The lovely, dog-friendly home will accommodate 2 guests as comfortably as 15. Rest can be fun! Go tubing in the river (5 tubes provided), jump in for a swim, or grab a pole and fish – all right from the backyard. A two-acre lot provides lots of room for the kids to play as well as a place for the adults to get away from the crowd.

In addition, you can also enjoy all the amenities Riverbend has to offer: canoeing on Mirror Lake (canoe provided), building sandcastles on the Mirror Lake Beach (there's a play area for the children), have a meal at the covered picnic site that offers spectacular views, hike, bike or jog one of the many trails, or just sit and relax by the waterfall. The fishing is excellent and the bait shop is right across the street.

River Rest is only 10 minutes from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park and Village and just 45 minutes from Asheville via the 74A scenic route. Ingles Market, with its full-service pharmacy, is a 5 minute drive from the home. Just 20 miles away is Rutherfordton with its restaurants, shops, and Tanner Outlet.

With 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, this home is just as comfortable for 2 as it is for 15. There are 2 master bedrooms (one has a King and the other is a Queen bed) on the first floor with private bathrooms. Another bedroom located on the first floor has access to the half bath directly across the hall. On the second floor there is another master bedroom (Queen bed) with a private bath. The loft bedroom has a full size bed. The kids’ attic bedroom has 2 twin beds, a play area, games, TV with VHS. Additionally, there is a sleeper sofas (full) and a sleep chair (twin).
