True North Outfitters is located in a beautiful two story log cabin. The first floor of our building hosts a reading area, living room, and is home to The Gorge Bistro. The Bistro serves breakfast daily and is open Friday evening thru Sunday afternoon offering world class dining. The second story of True North has 3 lodging areas: The Loft has 6 beds in an open space area that looks out over the dining room; The Cave Room is a bit more private with 5 beds; and The Private Room which has 3 beds offers the most privacy. If your party has less than the number of beds in the Cave Room or the Private Room but you would like the room all to yourselves, you can rent the empty beds for half price to guarantee your privacy. Larger groups may want to inquire about renting the entire building, which can sleep up to 20 people. The best part is that breakfast at The Gorge Bistro is included with all lodging prices. The Hostel Breakfast includes coffee, juice, fresh fruit, 3 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, and pancakes or biscuits and gravy (whichever the cook has whipped up that morning). Cereals and oatmeal are also available for our light eaters, or if the rest just isn’t enough.
