Locals call it, "The Best Spot in Carlsbad." because of the spectacular ocean and lagoon views, the short trail to the beach that starts right in front of the property, the beautiful enclosed yard -- and, we are located so close to the"village", yet away from traffic and noisy nightlife! Two "small and beautiful" detached private vacation houses share this very special property. Each house has magnificent white water ocean views and lagoon views, its own yard, it's own private patio with outdoor dining furniture, its own gas grill, and gas firepit. Each house has its own laundry facilities and off-street parking. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, and umbrellas are provided for you. We take pride in keeping both houses immaculately clean! Both houses have fabulous ocean views from inside and outside. Each house has two bedrooms and one full bath. Each is recently remodeled, fully equipped, and well stocked with everything you will need. Each house features wonderfully comfortable beds with all-cotton bedding, and has a queen bed in the master bedroom. The beach is one block away "as the crow flies", and is accessed by way of an easy three-minute scenic walk along the lagoon. The walk is about two blocks long, because the trail curves to follow the edge of the lagoon. Just like you do almost everywhere in Carlsbad, you will have to cross Carlsbad Blvd. to get to the beach (4 lanes, speed limit 30 mph, legal crossing with excellent visibility). At the beach you will find lifeguards, restrooms and showers. We are the corner of two quiet cul-de-sacs, in a neighborhood of private, multi-million-dollar homes. It's just one mile to the center of the "village" where there are restaurants and shops of every descriiption. Several superb golf courses are within minutes. Legoland is practically around the corner, next to a great designer outlet mall and Carlsbad's famous Flower Fields. Each house accomodates up to 5 guests. Rental rates are for one house, and the rates are the same for either house.
