Escape to this rustic, charming cottage on Baldy Lake only 20 minutes to Munising/Pictured Rocks area. The cottage sits on 10 acres has 1 bedroom and a loft. A queen size bed in main floor bedroom . The circular staircase takes you to a spacious loft overlooking the dining/living area with 4 twin size beds. Baldy Lake Escape sleeps 6 guests maximum and will accept pets for an additional fee. The full kitchen includes a gas range and refrigerator, double sink, plates, glasses, cups, coffee perculator, silverware, pots and pans. There is no indoor water, but drinking water will be supplied. Water for dishes and your shower can be taken from the lake! The bathroom has a composting toilet and battery operated shower. There are gas lights and a woodstove. Enjoy the screened in porch looking out at the lake just off of the living area. A charcoal grill is provided, you only need to bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid and matches! Enjoy the firepit outside by the lake, firewood included. A fishing boat and canoe is included and there is a dock to fish from. Fish species include: black crappie, blue gill, northern pike, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, perch, sunfish, rockbass. Baldy Lake Escape is located down a rustic road, on private, Baldy Lake, enough distance from civilization to get the much needed rest and time away from chaos, but close enough to Pictured Rocks and Munising so that you can still enjoy what our beautiful area has to offer. Baldy Lake has some beautiful fall colors to offer, so I hope you will take the opportunity and take your vacation here next year! Bring your slipper as this cottage has no carpeting.
