The minute you step through the gate of Casita Cielo Azul, you’ll feel your stress melt away. A handcrafted stone path leads you through a tropical garden to a terra cotta patio and pool. Past that, framed by palm trees, sits the house. Beautifully illuminated at night, the setting is the perfect backdrop for a tranquil getaway. For years, we have traveled throughout Mexico in search of art and artifacts for Casita Azul, our shop in Evanston, Illinois. The knowledge and experience we gained from staying at various hotels, B&Bs and resorts has been used to create the warm, comfortable environment you’ll find at Casita Cielo Azul. We wanted guests to be able to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. All of the rooms open onto terraces where you can linger over a meal, play a game or simply relax and take in the fresh air. Step onto the pool deck and take a swim--or kick back at one of our umbrella-covered patio tables with a book or a drink. It’s easy to make yourself at home at Casita Cielo Azul!
