for watching the beach and a large fire pit for evening bonfires. The
nearest beach access is a short drive down the paved Analyde Gap Road.
You can park on the beach or drive a few miles north as far as the
Moclips River. Bike riding also works on the hard-packed sand.
Bonfires are also allowed on the beach away from the beach grass.
Razor clam digging is a popular activity on dates designated by the
Department of Ecology. THE AREA Moclips has attracted visitors for a
century to its wide, sandy ocean beaches. The beach stretches for 30
miles from Point Grenville on the Quinault Indian Nation to the North
Jetty at the southern tip of Ocean Shores. The beach is backed up by
red sandstone cliffs with a beautiful, windswept forest on top.
