Description of the environment Federico Mayo: The apartment is situated in the Patriarca Eijo and Garay colony between the house "Casa de Campo" (ancient hunting fields of the Spanish Royal Family) and the Puerta del Sol (historic centre of Madrid city). It also belongs to the district of La Latina, very famous and typical area in Madrid. This quiet and peaceful quarter is well connected with every part of the city by subway (Alto de Extremadura) and various bus lines. It is the perfect place from which you can visit the whole city of Madrid and its surroundings. Nearby a great commercial street "Paseo de Extremadura" invites you for a walk. The Telesférico(cable railway) allows you to enjoy a unique mid-air tour and explore Madrid from a different view, starting in the nearby pine forest Casa de Campo and ending in the very heart of the city Paseo de Rosales. . .
