1996-1999 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. This lovely vacation rental is situated on 80 acres of forest
land with hiking and cross country skiing trails in the northeast
corner of New York 's Adirondacks near Lake Champlain and the Ausable
Chasm. The property is within 15 minutes of the Ausable Chasm and
Port Kent where a ferry may be taken to Burlington, Vermont. Lake
Placid and excellent skiing and mountain biking are less than 45
minutes away. For shopping and additional historic sites, the
vacation rental is 20 minutes from Plattsburgh, NY and the historic
village of Essex.
