Cherokee Lodge is planted gently in the Nanathala National Forest,a
few miles from Lake Nantahala and The Nantahala River. This
Appalachian-style wood and stone tribute to the Cherokee Indians is
nestled on the bank, 30 ft. above the White Oak Creek. This 2 story
all wood and cathedral ceilings comes with a fully equipped
kitchen,spacious living room with cozy leather sofas, rocked gas log
fireplace and a 42" flat screen plasma TV with DVD/VCR surround sound
sytem. Also on the upper floor is a pool table. The downstairs floor
has two master bedrooms,each with a king bed and two person indoor
jacuzzi tub and bath. In the bathroom is a multi-directional power
shower with river rocked walls. On the upper deck is the hot tub and
patio furniture overlooking the White Oak Creek. What a way to wake
up and have coffee outside overlooking the creek and listening to the
symphony of mother nature. Off to the side of the upper deck is a
private picnic area and gas grill.
