Morning Mist Cottage

The Morning Mist Cottage is A cottage that was built around the 1900 era. The cottage has been completely remodeled and restored to that theme. It does have modern conveniences. It has three bedrooms with queen sized beds, a sleeper sofa that is queen sized, and a love seat that will sleep one. It has two and a half baths. One of the baths features a whirlpool tub. It has a large kitchen with all the convenience of a modern kitchen. There is almost everything that you should need provided. With the exception of food and drink. The cottage features two decks. One on the lower level and one on the upper level. It has satellite TV, a gas grill, and an outdoor fire ring. It is located on a 120 acre farm in the center of various attractions. There are four golf courses located within 15 miles. Several trout streams within 25 miles or less. There are four public swimming pools within fifteen miles. Several tourist attractions are near; The Field of Dreams movie site. The Ertl national toy museum; The Villa Louies (a fur trader mansion that was one of the first settlements in the area); Effigy Mounds (prehistoric Indian Mounds) and two casinos. These are but a few of the many historic places in the area. there are many more to explore. The Mississippi River is twelve miles away and was the path of the first settlers. A nature trail is on the property. Limited hunting is available. Use with The Morning Mist Cabin to accomodate larger parties.
