Casa Colores is a sunny, colorful and relaxing house in a safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood. There are saltio tile floors throughout the house, which make it cool in the summer. It has a large landscaped yard with a very peaceful private garden in the back that includes a pond (with friendly fish!), a patio with a gas grill, and a hammock. There are Mexican talavera tiles in the kitchen and bathrooma and a Kiva fireplace in the living room. It is tastefully decorated with unique and comfortable furniture, accented with casual heirloom antiques. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other a double. There is also a roll-away bed and a comfortable couch - thus up to 6 people could stay at the house. Access to the downtown Plaza area is a direct and low traffic drive (ONLY two miles). Shopping centers and grocery stores are nearby with a natural grocery store only a mile away. It is less than a mile to four city parks, one with a public pool. Excellent walking and jogging is available just outside the front door along the Santa Fe River (often dry) or the neighborhood hill that over looks Santa Fe and two mountain ranges. GUEST COMMENTS Its very hard for us to leave this beautiful place! We had a wonderful time exploring the area and just relaxing in your lovely home. Your sense of design and colors are amazing- we’re going home to paint our white walls! Wow!! How great this was. The house was the perfect place to stay. It’s beautiful and very comfortable.
