ABIGAIL'S is a gorgeous large Victorian beach home located on the BEST private walking and kayaking beach of all Orcas Island! This beach home is located in the popular San Juan Islands of Washington, close to British Columbia, Canada. Built in 1997,it is situated on 1.5 acres of perennial gardens, plus there is a boardwalk over protected wetlands where you can view all kinds of birds, bald eagles, otters and even whales! ABIGAIL'S is a great romantic coupls's get away, or a quiet setting for a re-union of friends and family. All together, there are 5 private bedrooms with dramatic views of islands and the Canadian ski resorts beyond. The master suite has a king bed plus an additional double bed in a private alcove, a wine refrigerator, reading & sitting area, outdoor balcony overlooking the beach, and a Victorian bathroom with a claw foot tub with beach views. The other two upstairs bedrooms share one large bathroom. One bedroom has a queen and a double bed, and the 3rd room is small, but has a great water view. Downstairs has a large country kitchen with antiques and collectibles. The kitchen is new with everything gourmet cooks need to be creative and entertain family and guests. The kitchen opens to a large family and dining area. French Doors take everyone outside to a huge deck overlooking the gardens and the water beyond. A gas grill is on the deck. The deck is also partially covered and has outdoor furnishings for parties of 12 max. Views from the home and deck are of Sucia and Matia Islands and further north to the Canadian Mountains and Vancouver B.C. There are three rental options for this home. Option #1: Rent the 3 traditional bedrooms on the upstairs level plus the first floor with all the common rooms. This includes the gourmet kitchen, family room, large family outdoor dining deck overlooking the garden and water, front formal entry with the dramatic winding staircase, plus the 3rd downstairs family bathroom. Option #2: Add on Bedroom 4. This downstairs formal room includes a pillow top queen bed and antique furnishings including Drexel dark cherry dresser, writing desk & big garden view windows. Option #3: Add on Bedroom 5. Huge bedroom with queen pillow top bed, large sofas and glass coffee table, French doors leading out to big water view deck. Brick fireplace (but not for use).
