Really cool flat in the newly chic old artists' district. Ths building is an old factory reconverted into lofts, which won a national prize for its daring architecture. BTW, the architect lives upstairs, so you can ask him all about it! Garden in the courtyard and a very convivial atmosphere, lots of people take a table and chairs out on the terrace for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening ( Kinda reminded us of Melrose Place ). It's only five minutes from the Born area - with all the cool cafés restaurants and just general nightlife and underground shops. Two of Barcelona's most impressive architectural gems are only a short walk away: Palau de la Música Catalana and the Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar.
