About our Gites : Set in the heart of the Parc Naturel des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin, Les Gites Champetres are located on the edge of the quiet village of Sainteny which is less than one hour from the port of Cherbourg and city of Caen. Les Gites Champetres provide an excellent touring base to visit historic towns, the Normandy landing beaches and other places of interest. Ideal for couples or families with young children and suitable for use throughout the year. Accommodation : Les Gîtes Champêtres comprise of two 2 properties – 4 bedroom ‘ Chestnut Cottage ‘ and 5 bedroom ‘Walnut Cottage’, and are set within the 2 acre grounds of the owners home. A friendly but discreet service is assured. Chestnut and Walnut cottages can be booked individually or together.
