The house is located just 10 minute drive from the tranquil village of Playa Dominical,Once a small fishing village. Dominical is now home to a thriving and friendly community. The lush jungle plunges into the sea and the colors here are truly tropical. Nature preserves surround you and the wildlife here is abundant. With year-round consistent waves, Dominical is a must for surfers. And the area’s natural beauty, wealth of activities, kyaking, hiking, whitewater rafting and local amenities, make this a great destination. A visit to Playa Ventanas (Windows Beach)is a must! It get's it's name from the beautiful sea caves that line the north and south ends of the beach. The two caves on the northend extend from the beach out to the ocean, a distance of about 50 meters, and during certain tides create a sort of "blowhole" effect. Pressure from each wave blows a large cloud of steam out onto the beach. The caves on the south end of the beach tunnel deeply into the rock, and inspire thoughts of hidden pirate treasure. Horses can be delivered to the house with a guide to take you on a trip to the nearby waterfall. We also, have a guest house, that can accomodate up to six more guest.
