Villa 5a, Quinta da Saudade

The Quinta da Saudade is a small privately owned estate, nestling into the side of a valley with orange, almond and lemon trees. There are two pools, a children's play area, a tennis court and a restaurant/bar that has been converted from the original farmhouse building. There are Riding Stables at the Quinta with fabulous horses that can be taken our for gallops across the dunes or slow hacks through the countryside. Villa 5a overlooks the upper pool with views towards the sea. Accommodation consists of two twin bedrooms that have both summer and winter duvets and electric blankets for winter use. The sitting room/dining room has a wood-burning stove for winter months, satellite television and a video recorder. The bathroom is tiled throughout with a bath, shower and WC. A beautiful fully equipped kitchen with marble work surfaces has recently been installed. It has a fridge freezer, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and electric kettle amongst its equipment. Leading from the sitting room is a small terrace overlooking the Quinta's top pool and to the side is a sheltered terrace. The roof is extremely spacious and can be used for sunbathing. The Quinta is within each reach of wonderful un-crowded beaches and restaurants. You can enjoy long walks, bird watching or a round of golf at the nearby Salgados Golf Course. There are no steps to negotiate at Villa 5a! The villa also has a wall safe to protect your valuables. Daily maid service is provided as well as all linens and towels. Clients are asked to provide their own beach towels. The rent also includes the use of all the amenities at the Quinta, except for a charge for the tennis court. Logs and electricity are charged as extras during the Winter months only. Bookings are on a weekly basis from Thursday to Thursday, but if your holiday has to start on specific days, please let me know
