This property is located one mile from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. It fronts directly on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River at the confluence with McDonald creek. The Flathead River is the boundary of Glacier Park. Across the street is the 18 hole Glacier View Golf Course. This cedar home is built in a rustic Montana style architecture and is furnished with Mission Style Arts and Crafts-era antiques and new furniture. All kitchen items, linens, beds etc. are brand new. Relax and enjoy the views after an active day in the large outdoor hot tub. A gas barbeque and dining for eight completes the outdoor setting. The rear deck is only a few feet from the south bank of the river. The home has three bedrooms (2 queens, two twins), two and half baths, living/dining room (wood stove), kitchen with breakfast nook, TV room (double bed fold out), upstairs mezzanine (twin fold out), laundry room for a total of 2300 square feet. Sleeps 7-9. Other amenities include satellite TV, DVD/VCR and stereo. The town of West Glacier is at the entrance to Glacier Park. The famous “Going to the Sun” road starts in West Glacier and goes all the way across the Park offering countless opportunities for access to the Park interior.
