Property Description

This vacation rental is a renovated 2 BR, 1-1/2 Ba condo located 1/2 block from the sand in Imperial Beach, California. It features all the comforts of home and then some, including 52" HDTV, DVD/CD player and wireless internet. The lower level is an attached 2-car garage with washer and dryer. The middle (above street) level has a living room, dining room, kitchen and 1/2 bath, plus a small patio off the front door with two chairs, cocktail table and an LP BBQ grill. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a full bath. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed and a twin bed, Bedroom #2 has a king bed that can alternately be made into two extra-long twin beds, and the corner sofa downstairs converts to a full-size bed. This unit can accomodate 6 people very comfortably. Imperial Beach is a quiet, laid-back beach town, with minimal crowds and wonderful, wide white sand beaches. The US Open Sandcastle Championships are held here (about 300 yards from the front door) every July.

There's something to do at any time of the year in San Diego, including SD Zoo, Sea World, Legoland, miles of beaches, golf, parks, great museums, mountains and deserts, theme parks and probably about every outdoor recreation you can think of except ice-fishing (If you like fishing, though, the largest bass in the world lurk in San Diego County lakes). There's something for everyone.
