Our mountain cabin is located in Truckee, California, at the top of Ski slope Way (elevation 7300'), giving us an incredible panoramic view of the Martis Valley and the eastern High Sierras. This stunning landscape can be enjoyed from our deck, or looking out through the two-story wall of windows from the house's living room, dining room, kitchen and loft.

We are a Tahoe Donner property, which gives us access to hot tubs, steam room, sauna, pools, gym, weight room, a fine restaurant, clubhouse, deli and store. In the winter you can cozying up to the fireplace, ski in the back country and snowshoe right from our front door. You can ski in and out to the Tahoe Donner's own ski area for downhill and cross-country. The Tahoe Donner ski run is great for the family, as are hills for sledding and snow boarding. We are minutes away from historic downtown Truckee with great shopping and wonderful places to eat. In 30 minutes you can drive to world class Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Boreal, and Sugar Bowl ski resorts, or get to the casinos in Reno, hot springs in Sierraville, and beautiful blue waters of Lake Tahoe. Our cabin is our second home, so it has all the comforts of a regular home. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, satellite TVs and DVDs, 2 full baths, a loft that has 2 desks and 2 single beds, a laundry room with a washer/dryer, and wireless high speed internet. All you have to bring is food, clothing and toiletries, and recreational equipment! We have reduced rate for one couple who want a special getaway! We love our Truckee mountain top retreat, and hope you enjoy it, too.
