Come breathe the clean mountain air from our front and back balcony/decks as you relax from your day of skiing or hiking. Ponder the natural beauty surrounding you while sipping your favorite beverage from our Hot Springs Spa. This warm, enticing family chalet was completely remodeled in 2006. Built in the 1960's, it has lovingly been in the same family since; having one of the best views in the valley. The home comfortably sleeps 9-11 guests in four bedrooms (two with Queen beds, one with two twin beds, one with a twin trundle and another twin) plus a Queen sofa bed in the family room. Three completely remodeled bathrooms feature a spacious light-filled shower, a shower/tub, and another shower. A secure two-car garage with an eight-foot high automatic door, will accommodate your ski/luggage rack. We have room to store your skis, snowboards or bikes. There is also room for three to four additional cars off street. At the entry level, you will find an entry room with ample coat hanging, boot storage and drying rack. Also on this level is our washer and dryer, access to the Hot Springs spa and deck, a full bath (to quickly warm up after sledding), and a cozy family room with TV/DVD/VCR. (The queen sofa bed is here). The spectacular view of the Squaw Valley ski resort and The Meadow is available for your viewing pleasure on the main level of the chalet. Here is our great room with cozy living and dining area. A warm crackling fire in the Jotul wood burning stove coaxes you to sink into the soft cushions of the couch, listening to your favorite music, or watching that latest movie. Alternatively, you can enjoy the birds while reading a book out on the deck with it's gorgeous view. We have a fully loaded kitchen, complete with all cooking utensils, gas cook top, microwave and dishwasher. All 4 bedrooms overlook a peaceful pine mountain and have their own closet. There is a large landing with a desk area having high-speed internet access. We are a non-smoking home. We require a $500 refundable security deposit. We do not rent to students or singles under age 25.
