I recently stayed here for a few days with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time! The apartment is beautiful and really spacious. Well located just a short walk from both the train station (we went to Cannes and Monte Carlo) and the iconic beach promenade. There is a veloblue bike rental station beside the apartment (www.veloblue.org) and we used this service numerous times to explore Nice by bike. There is an amazing boulangerie next door to the apartment and we ate our fill of tasty pastries!! Walking distance from main shopping area (Jean Medicine) and pedestrian area (Pietonne - with bars and restaurants). Also the 23 bus stops outside and brings you directly to the airport for 1 Euro!
I also stayed in this apartment for 9 months and it was incredible. Patrick is the perfect landlord, always accomodating and easy to get a hold of. The apartment has huge ceilings, making it feel quite large. It also has a good sized living room, perfect to entertain guests, and three balconies, perfect for people watching or just enjoying the sunshine. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to Place Massena and about a 10 minute walk to both the Libération market and the main shopping street - Jean Médecin. The kitchen (and the rest of the apartment) is truly fully equipped, nothing lacking. The neighbours here are nice, as are the couple that work in the patisserie that's just downstairs! All in all, perfect location, perfect apartment, perfect landlords. You could not ask for a better place to stay whether you're there for a week or a year!
Hi, I actually lived in this appartment for 9 months while I was studying in Nice. It was the perfect location! Only a 5-10 minute walk from the trainstation, 2 minute walk from the 23 bus stop which goes to and from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the beach or to the market Liberation. The appartment itself is the nicest of any of my friends who were also living in the city. The balconies and high ceilings provide a wonderful open atmosphere. The builing itself is very clean and quiet, you won't be disturbed by neighbours and Pat the landlord is outstandingly helpful! I had a wonderful experience with this place and would move back in a heartbeat! Blvd Gambetta is a landmark in Nice which is very accessible by car. My advice for an amazing Nice experience? Stay at this appartment, go to Plage Neptune and make sure to grab a pizza from Sam's around the corner. Bon Voyage!
