tidal changes and ocean vistas out to The Entrance Island Lighthouse
and the surrounding Loch Bay. Loch Bay is a shallow water sandy beach
approximately one-quarter mile around leading to beautiful Sandwell
Provincial Park and the adjoining bird sanctuary.
The house

hardware store, real estate office, cafe, library, small movie
theatre, tourist information, etc. The island also contains a gas
station , several liquor stores, restaurants, nurseries, 2 pubs, the
scenic Sylva Bay Marina & restaurant & float plane dock. On Island
activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, numerous
waterfront parks, golf course and driving range with club rentals and
licensed restaurant, plus the numerous artist studios, yoga, etc.
