We're on the south shore of 6th Lake at Inlet, N.Y. We run from Sun. to Sun.. with our wks. We also rent during the winter months to snowmobilers. There is boating to 6th and 7th Lakes from our dock. 6th is about 1 mile long, 7th is over 2 miles long....with a sand beach you can drive a boat up onto at the east end. We have a brand new 2200 sq. ft. lakefront rental camp that has 4 good sized bedrooms, a sleeping den for guests, and 3 full bathrms. on 2 flrs. that can perhaps meet your vacation rental needs. It's on one acre of woods with a very large dock that has lots of sun exposure. The scenery is breathtaking with a view across all of 6th Lake and Black Bear Mountain. The waterfront is less than 30 feet from the camp. The very PEACEFUL 6th Lake has little motor traffic and has waterway access to 7th Lake. So day or evening you will be able to take in the peace of the Adirondacks, whether at the campfire by the shore or by the "fireplace" sitting at home in the evening. We've often had loons swimming off the end of our dock making their romantic calls. You can swim off our dock and at our shore (some of it is sand). There is a small beach along the lakeside water's edge and the water is shallow enough for small children that are attended by an adult. The depth of the water at the shore is 6" to 12". One can jump off the end of our 50' dock into about 8 ft. of water. There are Adirondack and other vinyl chairs to enjoy the view, a picnic table and a gas grille are there for outside eating. The camp has Adirondack wood siding and a large screened in porch that has a view of the lake and dock. There is a large parking area for your vehicles and boat trailers. Our kitchen comes furnished with all the utensils, dinnerware, place settings for 12 (table can seat 8-10), microwave and coffee maker, crock pot, lots of pots and pans, etc. and your husband doesn't have to worry about doing the dishes....we do have a new dishwasher! The ample dining and living area has a great view of the lake through four large windows. The first flr. also has a den with a queen size sleeping futon, a full bath is next to the kitchen. The second flr. has two bdrms. that view the south woods and the moon at night, a full bath off the hall, a large bedrm. and a mstr. bdrm./ bath that both look out onto the lake to the north. The 3 bdrms. have queen beds and two have twin beds- all w/pillows & comforters. All rms. have ceil. fans.
