Big Bear is a spacious (1550 sq ft) unit in Tamarack Loop located within walking distance to the ski village. An eight foot carved bear stands sentry on the covered front porch. A large open great room with a stone fireplace encompasses a comfortable living area (with newly installed carpeting and two new sofas, fall '07), dining area (with seating for 8-10), and a completely updated kitchen. Expansive picture windows and French doors open onto a private, covered back porch that overlooks a yard and mountain views and is a perfect spot for grilling. Ski access is a short, flat, half-block walk from the house. A private, locked ski closet, keyed to the unit, provides secure, convenient equipment storage on the covered front porch. A heated entry room with shelves and coat hooks facilitates drying of boots and outerwear. Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome, with a $75 fee per animal. All bedrooms are on the same level. Two have queen beds, and the third has two twins. In addition, there is a queen Murphy bed that opens into the great room. All beds were outfitted with new mattresses/box springs for the '07 ski season. Toasty heated tiles warm the floors in the kitchen and two bathrooms.
