Cottage On The Water with Breathtaking Vista

Our house is one of the very few in Wellfleet to have it all! On the water, plus a short walk to the marina, galleries, restaurants, and shopping. It sits at the tip of a penninsula which overlooks Wellfleet Harbor and Duck Creek. Birds frolic in the surrounding grass and bushes, cormorants and seagulls dive before you, and ducks swim by. We are surrounded by perhaps the most serene and breathtaking vista on the Cape, or anywhere. It is viewed from the deck and living/dining room with three walls of glass. The beauty is forever amazing. At high tide you say ''That's the most amazing''. Then you see it at low tide with the meandering blue creek cutting through the exposed tidal flats, and you think ''Now it is at its most beatiful''. You swear it is best on a sunny day when the white steeple is contrasted against the crisp blue sky, but then you experience it when it is cloudy and misty. You smell the salt air and hear the ships' bells, and say ''It is never more magical than this.'' The greatroom has an open floor plan encompassing the livingroom, diningroom, kitchen and a little office. The livingroom and diningroom are surrounded by three walls of glass with sliding glass doors entering onto the wrap-around deck. Open the doors and the shore breeze creates natural air-conditioning. The kitchen is well supplied for a gourmet cook, with food processor, blender, coffee bean grinder, etc. The bedrooms are normal size, whereas most in vacation homes are small. If you have a boat, we are less than a 5 minute walk to the Marina.
