Are you looking for peace and quiet in the heart of Okeechobee Lake? This is a perfect get-a-way for fishermen, water lovers, nature seekers, and/or vacationers who want to spend the day reading, watching movies, flea marketing or even gambling!   This 2 bedroom (queen and double/single bunk) and 2 baths, plus den cabin style home sleeps 5 and is furnished with beautiful new furnishings and artwork. This is a special place that we call our second home, so we want people here that will treat it as their home too. When you make a reservation you will speak with us personally and we want to make sure your stay is a memorable one.   The house is located in Lakeport, just south of Okeechobee (the town) and north of Moore Haven, and less than a ¼ mile from a main entrance to the lake. It has a fenced yard with over 40 native palm trees—most sabal palms. All linens and towels are here for you, so just bring your tooth brush and fishing pole. We even have a cleaning service.   No Pets and No Smoking.   Reserve for the weekend, week or month(s), but do it quickly as we book up fast!
