Experience the peace and quiet, sit and nature watch over coffee and plan your day's trips relaxing on the large fully covered (entire length of cabin) deck (with BBQ grill, table and chairs) overlooking your own woods, or just sick back and enjoy the beautiful stone wood burning fireplace (firewood provided). Kids will enjoy playing in the woods and observing wildlife. There are deer, wild turkeys and even a couple bears atop Mary King Mountain, and there are farm animals in the area seen along the road on your way up to our cabin. The wooded property is very cool, quiet and peaceful in the spring and summer. The leaves show all their brilliant colors during the fall, and when the leaves are all gone, there is a distant view of the surrounding mountains throughout the winter months.

The full eat-in kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances, including large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, smooth top range, microwave, toaster oven and dishwasher (dishwasher soap provided). There is a crock pot, can opener, hand mixer, and all dishes, pots/pans and utensils are also provided. All you need to bring are your groceries, bathing/laundry soaps and paper products.

There is also a clothes washer and dryer so you don't have to take your dirty laundry home with you (laundry detergent NOT provided). On the backside of the cabin, there is a large fenced section where your pet can run and play unleashed and do its business. Smoking permitted outside on deck only please.
