Property Description

An authentic old Adirondack cabin with dutch doors and casement windows, Deep Woods Cabin has four bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a breezy and bug-free wrap-around screened-in porch, a stone fireplace, an eat-in kitchen with a cozy old-fashioned wood stove (as well as a modern range), linens, cooking and eating utensils, Cable TV and DVD, and a washer-dryer. Folks who stay at any of our cabins, are entitled to visit us at the Adirondack Wildlife Rehabilitation and Refuge Center on Lake Everest, where the family can meet our pet wolf, Cree, and educational birds of prey, such as Great Horned Owls, Barred Owls, Screech Owls, Red-Tailed Hawks and Ravens. In addition, guests may use our canoes and kayaks on Lake Everest, and walk the hiking trail through the refuge.

Ausable Lodge's 60 acres includes a lovely, child-friendly trail through a birch and conifer forest for anglers and light duty hikers. You can hike, bike or drive to Ausable Lodge, which is less than a half mile from the Cabin.
