Seals At low tide this sand bar appears directly in front of the house, and it usually has a lot of seals on it. About 100 seals and seal pups populate the sand bars in the area year-round, and most of them hang out directly in front of the house.
Living Room Our living room is lined with windows on the south and west side. Through the west windows you look out over the west deck and the Pacific. Through the south windows you look out over Hodgden Creek, into Netarts Bay and into the forest. The living room is large (almost 400 sq ft), and our open floor plan is perfect for large gatherings (weddings, family reunions, etc.)
Outside View This is a view of the house in the trees, above the beach, taken with a telephoto lens from a cliff about 1/2 mile away. We are the last house on a dead-end street. The beach is directly below the house. The view is great because the house is up high.
View from the Deck This is the view of the Pacific and the beach from the West Deck.
Dining Area We have a large Dining Room. It has a big table that seats 8 people easily, and there is a bar between the dining room and the kitchen with additional seating. The view looks out over the west deck and the Pacific.
Master Bedroom The Master Bedroom has views west and north over the Pacific. You can see South to Capes Lookup and north towards Oceanside. The beds are very comfortable. There is a TV and DVD player in this room.
West Bedroom The West Bedroom looks west over the Pacific and Netarts Spit. Its a great place to watch the seals from.

Property Description

Oceanfront single-family house located at the mouth of Netarts Bay and Hodgdon Creek, near Oceanside and Tillamook, Oregon. The cottage overlooks Netarts Bay, the Oregon Islands Wildlife Refuge and the Pacific Ocean.

Eden's Garden is two stories, has three bedrooms and sleeps eight comfortably. Its on a bluff over the beach - with lots of windows and spectacular views. You can walk from the cottage directly to the ocean beach on our private path, or lounge on our deck, which overlooks the Pacific.

The area features some excellent restaurants, lots of wildlife, state parks, and many other different types of activities. Seals nest on sandbars offshore from the cottages, Great Blue Heron fish in the waters off our beach, Pelicans sail in the sky, and in the summer wild roses and lilies bloom in the yard. The area is known for Dungeness crabbing, fresh clams and oysters, fishing and whale watching, and is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route.

Netarts is a quiet non-touristy village of a few hundred people, about 80 miles directly west of Portland, OR. The cottage features a full kitchen, including a cook-top range, a microwave, a toaster oven, silverware, dishware, pots and pans, a coffee maker, a French Press, a coffee grinder, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a barbecue. We provide all towels and linens.

There is a TV, VCR, stereo, tape and CD player. There is electric heat and an electric fireplace. Eden's Garden has three queen-size beds in separate bedrooms, plus a day bed and a queen-size fold-out couch in the living room. Sleeping cots and pads can also be made available for your use upon request. The cottage comfortably sleeps eight, and you can rent our house next door too if you need room for more people. All bedrooms have ocean views.
