Gorgeous House

Gorgeous House Reviewed on May 01 2011 for a stay in April 2011 We stayed at villa hermosa for 4 nights in April and had an absolute blast. The house is gorgeous with stunning views and has all the amenities you could wish for. The location is just about perfect if you want to stay reasonably close to the airport, have amazing ocean views, undisturbed by the highway, and also be close to San Jose del Cabo. We will try to go back soon!

Amazing vacation home! Reviewed on Oct 23 2011 for a stay in October 2011 Went to Villa Hermosa with 6 of my friends for our vacation and we couldn't have asked for more. The view from the house is simply spectacular, sunrise and moonrise were jaw dropping. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Very quiet neighborhood and very practical location between Cabo and San Jose del Cabo. Practically private beach is just a 5 min walk away. Would recommend a car but if you don't feel like driving there, taxis were our transportation and they were very quick. Will definitely recommend this house to all my family and friends.

Relaxing! Reviewed on Jan 22 2012 for a stay in January 2012 Wonderful location and perfect time of year to visit! Very quiet and had the beach to ourselves each day! Perfect for 3 couples. Solar wasn't on in the pool due to time of year but we still enjoyed! Loved the layout of everything and it was very easy to cook at home and enjoy the whale watching each day from the patio. Have already sent your listing to friends for a future trip!

Simply Spectacular!!!! Reviewed on Feb 27 2017 for a stay in February 2017 Our family stayed seven night at Villa Hermosa. What a beautiful home!!! You could see the Sea of Cortez and hear the ocean's roar every room of the Villa. It is a gated community and the residents and staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt very safe and secure there and you could walk to two beaches from the villa in 5 minutes. It was a close drive to La Comer(the grocery store) and Walmart as well as great restaurants. San Cabo Lucas was a 30 minute drive where there are endless things to do whether you wanted to go to clubs, restaurants or go on numerous excursions. The owners were terrific, making recommendations for restaurants, spas, fishing trips and excursions to take. Pancho the property manager was also great, assisting us, whether it was a simple question or a ride into town. We highly recommend this property!!! J,L and S.

spectacular! Reviewed on Jul 23 2013 for a stay in June 2013 Often when I look for a place, I see the pictures and I think that they are just overselling it. If anything, this place is under selling! First, the owners were great to work with. They were always quick to respond to questions, easy to arrange the place with, and even contacted us just before as well as during the trip to make sure everything was going well. The inside is beautiful and well kept. The kitchen, although we didn't use it often, is modern and well equipped. The bedrooms are quite spacious and the beds are comfortable. But, most importantly, the view is incredible. You have an excellent view of the Sea of Cortez, the local beach, as well as the palmilla beach and resort. You can see fishing boats, sailboats, and the waves crashing. It's a bit far off, but you can still hear the waves from the house, especially since its a closed private-and quiet-community. It's a short walk down to the beach which was nice and private, but you could also walk all the way to Palmilla with minimal climbing over a few small rocks. At the home, the pool is nice sized and well maintained. The outdoor lounging area was always nice after a dip in the pool. It is close to San Jose del Cabo and the Mega for groceries, as well as zippers and the surfing areas. It is a gated area and you do see security around at night, so we 'sheltered' Midwestern folks never once felt a lack of safety. If I had to give any down side to this wonderful place it would be two things. First, be prepared to do some stair climbing, it is a fair amount of stairs up to the house, so those groceries and luggage get a bit heavy. Second, it's a good twenty to twenty five minutes to Cabo San Lucas. That can be a plus or minus depending on what you want, but we went there almost daily for meals. All told, this is a fabulous place for a vacation rental. We took three teenagers, and they all loved it, especially since we could easily go surfing at the Cabo surf hotel area in the day, come back and clean up, then go to Cabo at night for dinner. It may not be as posh as some places as some places, but for the price, it's as good as it gets! HIGHLY recommended!

Absolute Perfection

Absolute Perfection! Reviewed on Feb 19 2017 for a stay in February 2017 We spent six nights in this lovely home, with an incredibly beautiful view. The area was quiet, and the beach a 5 minute walk away. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms clean and the bedding very comfortable. If we go back to Cabo, we'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing Home!

Amazing home! Reviewed on Nov 04 2015 for a stay in October 2015 We decided to choose a home instead of a resort for the Ironman race because of 4 kids and Villa Hermosa caught my eye immediately. First, it is close to San Jose (5-10min drive) and right next to Palmilla beach (IMO nicest beach in Los Cabos) -- close to Mega, WallMart and Costco! Second, it is in a gated community and security people are very nice! Third, the views are amazing and it has a pool. If you want to mix it up, you just walk down the steps to the private beach. We were there as hurricane Patrica was raging further south so the sea was a bit choppy in the beginning but it was calm towards the end of our trip. The house itself was very spacious. Huge living/dining/kitchen area. Big rooms with own bathrooms. Beautiful balconies on every floor. Every room was private and in the corner of the house. One concern I had before the trip was the pool because we have small kids but the pools is not on on the same floor as the living area. You have to go through solid screen doors and down the stairs to get to the pool. This set up made me very comfortable and the kids couldn't open the screen door. It seems that everything is relatively new in the house.. You literally do not need to bring everything -- there are pool toys, any imaginable utensil and serving/cooking dish, internet, free US phone, US satellite TV, towels, washer/dryer, etc. etc. Another great perk of this home is the property manager Alfonso. He was very welcoming and it made the trip that much better. We also had a beach day with paddle boards and beers by Palmilla that Alfonso set up for us. He even had a cooler full of ice for our drinks and food. We will definitely be back in a year or so!!! Can't wait!

Simply Amazing Reviewed on May 30 2016 for a stay in May 2016 Just retuned home from a weeks stay in Cabo at Villa Hermosa. Villa Hermosa is the perfect place to stay in my opinion. Booking was quick and simple. It's location is private and quiet yet a 15 minute drive to the bars, restaurants and other attractions in downtown Cabo. We walked to the local beach almost everyday. The home was clean and had all things necessary to make our stay comfortable. We opted to not rent a car but had the homes manager Alfonso drive us where we wanted to go. He was always only a text away and very responsive. The home is in a gated community and felt very safe. The private heated pool was great at all hours of the day and night and the ocean views are spectacular. I definitely recommend Villa Hermosa and I hope we're lucky enough to return soon.
