The Green Bedroom A memory-foam queen-size bed, dresser/mirror, closet and hardwood floors. Fan. Plenty of blankets and pillows.
Bathroom The small original bathroom with a tub with shower. Bring your own beach towels; a hair dryer and ample towels are provided.
Open Kitchen Quaint but well-equipped kitchen to suit all your needs: a big fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven, a micro-wave and an espresso machine for your coffee. There is a breakfast nook and dining-room. Ceiling fan. Phone service with calling-card (N/A). DSL hook-up and wireless router for your laptop (sorry, not available for the winter season). Washer/dryer. Mud room.
Cruiser Bicycles Take a ride into the country or into town about two miles away.

Property Description

Choose this private shore-line cottage from the 1960s at the end of a quiet lane on the mill pond of the Little Wolf River. Fish right off the pier. Perch, bass, bluegills, crappies, northern pike in May, and the occasional brown trout. The ice is melting; fishing season opens soon! Clean your catch right by the water.

All of these amenities will make you feel right at home: two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of room in closets and dressers for your belongings, orthopedic memory-foam beds, hardwood flooring, central cooling, a window a/c unit in one bedroom and fans to keep the air comfortable in summer; central heating in winter; a living-room with a view towards the pond with two leather sofas; a fully-equipped kitchen for the chef and a dining area plus laundry-room with washer and dryer.

Get away from the hustle and bustle for awhile. Bring your binoculars to watch the birds. Cardinals live here and as well as cranes and Canadian geese. Get right out there where the fish are biting in the boat (with oars or trolling motor). Or paddle up-river in the inflatable kayak. In winter put a hole in the ice right off the private shore-line. Barbeque your fish or hamburgers on the Weber grill. Take the portable fire pit and the camping chairs into the yard or roast marshmellows at the camp-fire site close to the water.

Have fun and see some of the open countryside on the twin 3-speed cruiser bikes. Watch the sun rise over the lake across the expansive level yard from the house and the porch through the old-stand trees.

We welcome small families or groups. Your pet will be limited to certain areas and rules.

Check-in is after 3 o'clock; check-out is by 10 a.m.
